The classical scheme is applied for management of any mechanism: the mechanism of change (choice); a tranfer unit (el.cable, pneumowire, hydrowire, push-pull cable of remote control, etc.); the executive mechanism. The mechanism of change (choice) or the switch, or otherwise shifter - device with the help of which you can influence on the executive mechanism.
The examples of shifter using are:
- gear box speed change in the automobile (shifter works discretely, so it can accept only the certain positions);
- engine RPM change of scooter, motorcycle, boat, etc. (shifter works selectively, so it can accept any positions)
